The Edge of the Web conference aims to bring together an outstanding line up of international and national experts in their fields to present a diverse range of leading-edge and highly topical content. The conference focuses on the latest web development techniques and next generation business practises that utilise the web.

Edge of the web is an initiative of the Australian Web Industry Association.

As the first association of it's kind to represent the web industry in Australia, AWIA provides events aimed at promoting networking and social interaction between it's members. It also provides learning and development opportunities through an annual program of workshops and seminars, as well as an established online community forum and member directory.

Additionally, AWIA runs the Australian Web Awards which recognise excellence in web development and design for individuals and organisations across the country.
